CHINA CONSIDERING END TO 13-YEAR BAN ON VIDEO GAME


SHANGHAI, Mon Jan 28, 2013 - China suppliers is considering raising a decade-long ban on games systems, the formal China suppliers Everyday magazine revealed on Thursday, delivering stocks of major components creators such as Sony models Corp and Manufacturers Co Ltd rising.

“We are examining the policy and have performed some surveys and held conversations with other ministries on the possibility of opening up the gaming system industry,” the China suppliers Everyday estimated an un-named source from the Secretary of state for Culture as saying.

“However, since the ban was from seven ministries more than a several years ago, we will need approval from all parties to raise it.”

“The ministry is not considering raising the ban,” the formal, who determined himself only as Bai, told Reuters.

Video gaming systems are prohibited in China suppliers, but on the internet and doing offers on mobile phone devices are both extremely common, which experts say limits the potential benefit for Sony models and competing activity machine creators.
